What’s in v1.1

Provider Abstraction

  • Anthropic Claude — Opus / Sonnet / Haiku, configurable per project
  • OpenAI GPT — GPT-4 family, drop-in alternative
  • BYOK — keys stored locally, never phoned home

Genre Presets

  • Fantasy — tropes, name patterns, item archetypes
  • SciFi — tech-flavored vocabulary, faction tone
  • Cyberpunk, Post-Apoc, Mystery — voice-tuned prompts

Wizards & Queue

  • Quest Wizard — objective + branch generator with constraints
  • Item Wizard — stat-aware drops, lore-consistent descriptions
  • Approval Queue — every generation reviewed before commit

Integration

  • SaveStack — persist approved lore as authored content
  • DialogueFlow — consume quest hooks as dialogue beats
  • InventoryFlow — route items into the catalog at approval
  • UnityEvents — wire generations into your own pipelines

Why LoreFlow

AI content generation is easy. Keeping authorship, consistency, and review discipline while moving fast — that’s the hard part. LoreFlow is opinionated about three things.

Editor-only by design

LoreFlow never ships in your build. There is no runtime SDK, no telemetry, no shipped keys. Generations happen in the Editor; what your players see is regular ScriptableObjects authored by you, reviewed by you, committed by you.

Genre as a first-class concept

Every preset is a structured prompt + name palette + tone profile + safety filter. Switch genres and the whole pipeline reframes — no manual prompt-engineering, no copy-paste from a Notion doc.

The Approval Queue is the contract

No generation auto-commits. Each result lands in a queue with diff, prompt, model, cost, and seed. Approve it, edit it, reject it, regenerate it. Your repo only sees content you signed off on.

Quick start

1

Install and configure your key

Import via Asset Store. Open Tools → Avanatro Tools → LoreFlow → Settings, drop in your Anthropic or OpenAI key, pick a default genre preset.

// LoreFlow stores keys in EditorPrefs (per-user, per-machine).
// Nothing leaves your machine except the provider call itself.
LoreFlowSettings.SetProvider(LoreProvider.Anthropic);
LoreFlowSettings.SetApiKey("sk-ant-...");
LoreFlowSettings.SetGenre(GenrePreset.Fantasy);
2

Generate your first quest

Open Tools → Avanatro Tools → LoreFlow → Quest Wizard. Pick constraints (length, faction, reward tier), click Generate, review the result.

using AvanatroTools.LoreFlow;

var request = new QuestRequest
{
    Genre   = GenrePreset.Fantasy,
    Length  = QuestLength.Short,
    Faction = "Ember Watch",
    Reward  = RewardTier.Common,
};

QuestDraft draft = await LoreFlow.GenerateQuestAsync(request);
ApprovalQueue.Enqueue(draft);
3

Approve, then commit

Open the Approval Queue. Each entry shows the prompt, the response, and a diff against your existing catalog. Approve to materialize as a QuestDefinition ScriptableObject; reject to send it back; edit to fine-tune before commit.

BYOK reminder Your API keys are your billing surface. LoreFlow shows per-generation token counts and a session cost estimator, but it cannot enforce hard spend limits at the provider boundary. Set monthly caps in your provider dashboard before enabling team-wide use.
